I have Windows Server 2008 Master NB 7.5.0.6 and 3 x Windows 2008 Media servers at NB 7.5.0.6.
The 3 x Media servers are also Backup hosts for vADP. And setup as such in the Master properties as VMware access hosts.
The credentials are set to use the vCenter server for Virtual machine access.
vADP backups seem to work fine.
Full restore of a vm seems to work fine.
VMware policy - Uses automatic query and uses "Backup media server" to perform automatic host selection.
We use VM DNS Name as primary VM identifier
VMWare backup host is "Backup media server"
Enable file recovery from vm backup is enabled.
Individual file restore -
I can browse to find the individual files in the vm - but when I try a restore I get status 2820.
What destination client should I use and what location ?
The NB client agent is not installed on the vm and would prefer not to have to install it.
