Migrating existing bu job definitions from old to new NBU 7.5 master server

I need a solution
Short Description;
The situation is we have recently built a new NetBackup 7.5 master server, and now we want to export the NBU backup job definitions from the old NetBackup 7.0x master server and import them into the new NBU 7.5 master server.
I have followed the general outline given in this forum article:

After copying the class bu job defs from old NBU 7.0 master server to new NBU 7.5 master server, adding/selecting the new NBU 7.5 master server on the client server, recycling NBU services on new NBU 7.5 master server, I can't connect from the new NBU 7.5 master server to the client server and backup up the server; the error msg is: bpcd on <clientServer1> exited with status 59: access to the client was not allowed

Is there something I am missing? I am able to ping and resolve the client servers from the new NetBackup 7.5 master server and vice versa.
Thanks for any good explanations.

Verbose Explanation:
The situation is we have recently built a new NetBackup 7.5 master server, and now we want to export the NBU backup job definitions from the old NetBackup 7.0x master server and import them into the new NBU 7.5 master server.
I have followed the general outline given in this forum article:

Basically what I have done is to zip up the current bu job defs from the original NBU 7.0 master server (from here:%installPath%\VERITAS\NetBackup\db\class\*)
and copy this zip file to the destination new NetBackup 7.5 master server, and unzip the class.zip into the new server's bu job defs class folder here: (%installDrive%\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\db\class)

After closing the NBU admin console on new master server and recycling NBU services, I can see the imported bu job policies;

In left hand pane, select one of the policies (in this example, dbServers), then in the right-pane, under the dbServers: 22 Clients section, see the list of servers defined for this bu definition; select the server (clientServer1) and RDP into this server and change/add the master server;
(start/symantec netbackup/"backup, archive, and restore" utility; from the file menu, "Specify NetBackup Machines and Policy Type..."; edit server list, and add the new master server; then select the new master server and click ok)

exit/logoff server; then back on the new master server, recycle the nbu client service again;

right-click policy to edit; select change; goto backup selections tab;
trying to modify what bu targets to bu or add new targets on the client server results in "unable to connect to NetBackup host "clientServer1"; I can't browse the file structure on the client server.

right-click policy and selecting "manual backup" results in this error:  Status = access to the client was not allowed. (this is the email status)
this is part of the "Detailed Status" tab log entries:
8/8/2013 11:15:22 AM - Error bpbrm(pid=4440) bpcd on <clientServer1> exited with status 59: access to the client was not allowed
