BAR not displacing new expiry date after extending expiry date

Netbackup version: 7.1.0.4

OS: Win 2k3, R2, 64bit

after running bpexpidate command to extend expiry date of backup id, BAR is still displacing initial expiration date of the backup image. However,checking the client on image on disks report, i could see that the new expiration date has been modified to new date. I'm just curious why the new date isn't displaying on the backup sets on BAR. Please i need your help.
